Fantastic brunch/lunch place! One can expect a high quality meal that will satisfy your appetite. The Boulder merchandise on the wall gives it a homey and cozy vibe to the establishment. The decor is on point and it’s a great place for family meals. They have a good selection of food at very reasonable prices, especially for Boulder standards
I was not a huge fan of their French fries but was nothing in comparison to the overall experience. The staff were polite and there is ample of indoor and outdoor seating.

Doug's Day Diner is a gem. The menu features many interesting items as well as classics that will always be good. If you try the full sized papas you may discover you're a whimp! 😂
My only complaint is that the home fries were pretty bland, everything else was awesome.
The portions are also very generous considering the pricing, the pancakes are huge, not to mention delicious. We are coming back to try the cinnamon roll that appears to be about a foot in diameter!
Kelly was our server and she did an amazing job. Not only was she eager to provide an excellent experience, but she provided a very friendly and honest appearance that made us feel we were in very capable hands.

Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Exceeded any expectation I had. I had a Black Betty burger with messy fries. It was absolutely perfect and delicious from beginning to end. They have a large menu full of interesting things. After this experience I would highly recommend. I know I’ll be going back many times.

Overall a pretty "meh" experience.
Waitress seemed a little new, but was very polite and friendly. My wife and I both ordered breakfast platters. I forget what she had, but she liked it I recall. My bacon was pretty overdone (bordering on burnt) but the rest (biscuit, gravy and eggs) were OK.
We also ordered a cinnamon roll, which was delicious, but came out much later than the rest of our food, to the point that we thought the waitress had forgotten to put it in as part of our order.
I probably wouldn't recommend this place to others, or might try another location next time.
